Dunya News - 11 including PM booked for murder, terrorism

As many as eleven persons including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have been booked for murder and terrorism charges. Dunya News on Wednesday obtained the copy of First Information Report (FIR) registered against he nominated accused.
According to the details, it has been decided to form a joint investigation team to probe the merits of the case.
A case, numbered 206, was registered at Islamabad police station’s Secretariat in which Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif, Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Inspector General (IG) Punjab, IG Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner and Station House Officer (SHO) of Secretariat station were booked.
According to the sources, Islamabad police wrote to interim Chief Commissioner for the investigation of the said case in which formation of a joint investigation team was recommended.
As per the copy of the FIR obtained by Dunya News, the police of Punjab, Railway and Azad Kashmir fired at unarmed civilians and that people were brutally injured by firing expired teargas shells.
The district and session judge had ordered to register a case against the accused over Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) complaint.
