Rabindrasangeet-Amar Mukti Aloy Aloy By Utsab

Amar Mukti, one of Tagore's best known works, was composed at Nuremberg, Germany in 1926 (19th September). It wasn't an easy year to live through. Kolkata, Tagore's city, was trampled under 3 consecutive riots. The bard, on the other hand, had just lost his elder brother-Dwijendranath Tagore. Later in 1926, Kobi Guru traveled across Europe with, from all we can guess, little pain, little apprehension....

This beautiful composition has been presented in a new way by Utsab.
