"Walter Van Beirendonck" Spring Summer 2013 Paris 2 of 2 HD Menswear Women by FashionChannel
Allergic to the unstoppable advance of the digital era, the Walter van Beirendonck man for next summer season seeks shelter in the discretion of a delicate chromatic palette that analyzes the pastel tones of pink, gray, and beige, leaving room to black and optical white. Against it, the design choices are quite striking, from the long leather gloves, the only ones that speak loudly in a collection called Silent Secrets, to the shirts that are tight on the chest thanks to a complicated game of crossed laces that make the outfit similar to the armor of a cyber-templar knight. The whim comes from the dandy-esque top hats and the sculptured collars in a Mad Hatter style, created expressively by artist Folkert de Jong. A revolutionary dissect, maximal in contents and volumes for a 2.0 intimacy.
