"FURLA FOUNDATION" @ Venice Film Festival 2013 With Marina Abramovic by Fashion Channel
Fondazione Furla presented Giada Colagrande's latest film The Abramović Method as a special event in Venice within the Venice Days section. The film was produced by Art + Vibes in collaboration with Collateral Films and the support of Fondazione Furla.
The film documents the first time the Method was enacted and follows the mental and physical transformations of participants in this experiment triggered by the direct relationship with the artist and the experience of the performance.
More than 500 guests, including journalists, VIPs and socialisers attended the cocktail party held in honour of the artist Marina Abramovic and the director Giada Colagrande to express their appreciation. Among them were Willem Dafoe, Ennio Capasa, Carlo Antonelli, Servane Giol, Fiona Scarry, Marlene Scarry, Giacomo Alberotanza, Laura Corvino, Clementina Montezemolo, Barbara Garavelli, Alberto Barbera (Director of the Venice Film Festival) Alberto Mondadori, Bruce LaBruce, Massimo Giorgetti (MSGM), Goga Ashkenazi, Diego Dolcini, Teresa Missoni, Nico Vascellari and Contessa Matilde Zavagli.
