Volkswagen e-Golf German Police Car Unveiled

Believably, it seems Volkswagen is the only automaker who looks over the environment and social evils both at the same time; and hence, unveiled the e-Golf as a Police car in Germany.
Aesthetically, the vehicle is a standard electric Golf, except flat wheels, and police livery covering the body.
Reportedly, the distance-range covered by it in a single charge falls between 130 to 190 kilometers. Plug-in time of at least four-hours makes it to completion.
While drooling over, we stomped over a thought, does the Police officials would run to nab the offenders if they end up the charging amidst a chase, or do they needed to wait and let offenders flee till the battery tops up?
