Ghazal King Mehdi Hassan sings Bahadur Shah Zafar, who rightly says, 'baat karni mujhay mushkil kabhi aisi to na thi'. Mere denial of criminal charges does not end the case. It is the beginning - to be followed by investigation, collection of evidence, court trial, prosecution and defence evidence, judicial verdict, and of course, if proved, conviction of accused and execution. Turkey did that! Why not in Pakistan?
