Incessant rain for the second day in row has inundated many areas while killing 51 people in various accidents all over Punjab.Most of the deaths took place owing to electrocution and house demolitions. Roofs of many homes caved in due to uninterrupted rain.
Out of 13 victims in Lahore, 6 were electrocuted in various incidents. The Punjab government has announced Rs 500,000 for the each victim and Rs 100,000 for the injured.
