Mang Kanor "Kanor" banned from PAGASA (Sept 03 2014)

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has recently and quietly censored “Kanor” from the agency’s official list of typhoon names. State weather bureau PAGASA released a revised list of names for tropical cyclones in the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) last Tuesday, with “Kanor” now replaced by “Karding.” Reports said that PAGASA removed “Kanor” because of alleged negative feedback from the public. “Mang Kanor” is the moniker given to an old man whose sex video scandal with a young girl spread like wildfire online a few years ago.
