Paper Boats By Rabindranath Tagore

The poem narrates the child's experience of floating paper boats down the stream. The child imagines that some other child tries to compete with his boats by sending clouds down the air in the sky.

Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) was a Bengali polymath and a renaissance man of his era. He was born in Kolkata, India. His novels, stories, songs, dance-dramas, and essays have been an epicenter of wisdom.
