Yash Raj Films and Rani Mukherjee’s Mardaani has hit the theaters and from what we hear the movie had decent occupancy during morning shows. But what about its Box Office collection?
Yes…we are coming to it! The much-awaited film raked in Rs. 7-8 crores on the opening day, and is expected to do wonders during weekend. Will it?
We say so coz there are already big banner films running – Singham Returns and Entertainment! Rani is seen playing Shivani Rao, a daring yet fearless police inspector who leaves no stone unturned to bring back Pyaari, a teenage girl kidnapped by underworld don.
The story revolves around child trafficking that has quite relevant in the society nowadays. Even the critics have praised Rani’s punches and her performance. Released in approximately 1300 theaters, we think the film is likely to do well in metros unlike small cities.
