Dunya News - I'd rather die than accept this system: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday said that he would hold an immediate reelection and secure double the amount of votes if the government gathered as many people to shout ‘go Imran go’, Dunya News reported.
He said he’d rather die than accept the current system.
“They tell us we’re unconstitutional, I ask you Nawaz Sharif, what law says common people can’t protest peacefully?” He asked. “Under what law have you blocked the roads?”
Khan said the rally is being watched across the country. He urged ‘Azadi March’ participants to not to waste ‘this opportunity’, adding that the real power lies with the people.
“What is Jihad? It means standing up to the oppressor…if people misuse the term Jihad, this doesn’t mean Jihad isn’t a duty.” He said.
“This is your democratic right to elect your representatives…”
He claimed 40% of Pakistanis face malnutrition while the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif enjoys a luxurious lifestyle of ‘Mughal-e-Azam’.
He said ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ lives on people’s money.
“Congrats to Pakistanis who have refused to accept this system,” he said.
Lamenting at United States (US) endorsement for general elections 2013, he said “they say these were transparent election as endorsed by US. Let me tell you how transparent it was. 60,000 to 70,000 votes are unidentifiable, if such was the situation in US, they would have rejected the election.”
