Lok Sabha Speaker rejects Congress' demand for Leader of Opposition post - Tv9 Gujarati

Citing past precedents and the opinion of the Attorney General, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has conveyed to Congress that the post of Leader of the Opposition in the Lower House cannot be given to the party as its strength in the House is less than 10% of the total membership.
