Dunya News - Legal notice to PM for not stopping long marches

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has received a legal notice from Advocate AK Dogar for allowing the ‘Azadi March’ of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and ‘Revolution March’ of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) to proceed to Islamabad.
Lahore High Court (LHC) in a decision yesterday (Thursday) had declared the demands of the long marches as illegal. High Court had also declared both the marches as illegal in its decision.
However, the legal notice says that PTI and PAT have not yet backed off from their demands making both the marches as illegal. The legal notice says that PM Nawaz Sharif should have blocked the marches in light of the LHC decision but he didn’t.
Advocate AK Dogar has asked Prime Minister of Pakistan to ban these political parties or else Dogar will take legal course against the PM.
