Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona), Aug 14 (EFE).- FC Barcelona defender Marc Bartra, who trained apart from the group earlier in the week, joined the team's training session on Wednesday.
Keeper Marc-André Ter Stegen and Xavi Hernandez, however, were given specific work to recover from their back and calf injury respectively.
Brazilian players Neymar da Silva and Adriano Correia worked out with their teammates for a while. Neymar is still working on his recovery from the back injury he suffered during the World Cup quarter-final match against Colombia, while Adriano kept working apart from the group due to a heart condition discovered early in the season.
Lastly, Barça's latest transfer Thomas Vermaelen worked with the physiotherapists once again to recover from an injury to his right hamstring. The Belgian would most likely miss the beginning of La Liga.
