Mulayam offers coalition, Maya rejects

Days after Lalu Yadav proposes Samaj Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) to join hands to stop the BJP, SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said that if Lalu Yadav is ready to mediate; he is ready to ally with Mayawati's BSP. But hours after Mulayams statement, BSP Chief Mayawati completely refuted the offer, accusing the SP of being hand in glove with communal forces.

After burying the hatchet with JD(U) in Bihar, Lalu Yadav shared the stage with Nitish Kumar in a rally. Lalu proposed SP and BSP alliance to eliminate communalism forces.
