My name is Tyson Cohen and I am the owner of Priority One Moving and Hauling in the Denver Metro area. Another good question you should be asking your moving company up front is “what happened if something does get mess up? If some furniture, piece of glass break or whatever.” Everybody have their own process and how they deal with insurance. Like us at Priority One Moving and Hauling, we hardly ever use insurance. If there is some sort of problem, we either deduct it from the bill or we just settle it first hand with the customer. Many other companies have their specify process they use. A claim service or something like that. It is good to know up front and be looking for it in case something does happened so that you do not feel like you are out in the blue when it does happened in the middle of the move.
