Daegeum, the Sound of a Thousand Years!
1,500 years ago, Silla, the kingdom of Korea, dreamt of becoming the land of the Buddha.
Its king was buried under the sea, so that he would be able to protect his country as a dragon.
The sleeping dragon would be awakened only by the sounds of a mysterious flute.
The heaven and the ocean…
And, a sound that permeates nature.
The thousand-year-old legend still lives among the Korean people, embodied in the soulful sound of daegeum.
