Twenty-five days into Israel's offensive, the bombardment on Gaza continues.
And Israel says the Iron Dome interceptor continues to shoot down rockets fired by Hamas militants.
The fighting has claimed the lives of more than 60 Israeli soldiers, and more than 1,600 Palestinians -- most of them civilians.
Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has broken his silence on the matter.
In a statement read by a TV announcer, he describes Israel's offensive in Gaza as a war crime:

"And in this context, we see the blood of our brothers in Palestine shed in collective massacres that have not excluded anyone, and war crimes against humanity without scruples, humanity or morality."
As the casualty numbers continue to rise, new truce negotiations are on the table in Cairo.
