Cleanup begins after explosions in Taiwan

Armed with shovels and brooms, soldiers join the clean up operation.
They begin the arduous task of removing the rubble and smashed vehicles a day after a series of explosions caused by a gas leak ripped through this southern Taiwanese city.
The blasts were so powerful they gouged open roads, flung cars and sent flames flying dozens of metres into the air. Several people were killed and over 200 were wounded.
This area in a district of Kaohsiung city was known as "car rental street" locally because there were so many of those businesses here.
But now around scores of these shops are in ruins and millions of dollars have been lost.
This man works at one of the car rental shops. He says all the cars here were destroyed and that there was nothing that they could do.
