ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
Video obtained by Reuters on Thursday (July 31) shows a violent explosion taking place as three ambulances arrived at the scene of a first blast near Shejaia market on Wednesday (July 30).
The blast, which Palestinian officials said was Israeli shelling of a produce market, killed 17 people total.
The Israeli military said it was investigating.
Wednesday was one of the deadliest day since the conflict began. In a separate incident, at least 15 Palestinians among thousands sheltering at a school ran by the United Nations were killed. The United Nations said its initial assessment was that Israeli artillery shells hit the facility.
