James Rodriguez joins Real Madrid ranks

Madrid, Jul 23 (EFE), (Camera: Ramón Ayala).- Colombian player James Rodriguez was officially presented as Real Madrid's new transfer on Tuesday at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium by club's president Florentino Pérez.
After posing with his brand new number 10 jersey at Real Madrid's stadium, James touched the turf in front of nearly 35,000 fans who gave him a warm welcome to The Whites.
The player said he was happy to join the club and it was a dream come true. James added that he hoped to win many titles with the club and cheered his new team on shouting Real Madrid's motto "Hala Madrid".
President Florentino Perez stressed that whoever wore the club's jersey did not know the meaning of giving up and added that they believed in James's talent and effort to give a 100 percent during his time with The Whites.
Perez finished his speech adding that the Bernabeu was already his stadium, as well as the crowd's, and welcomed him home.
