Australia's prime minister's launched an angry attack on activity at the scene of the MH17 plane crash which remains under the control of pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine.
Tony Abbott delivered a scathing assessment of the situation at the wreckage site which he says is more like a garden clean-up than a forensic investigation.
(SOUNDBITE)(English) AUSTRALIAN PRIME MINISTER TONY ABBOTT SAYING:
"There's no doubt at that the moment the site is under the control of the Russian-backed rebels and given the almost-certain culpability of the Russian-backed rebels in the downing of the aircraft, having these people in control of the site is like leaving criminals in control of a crime scene."
The Malaysian Airlines flight was shot down over eastern Ukraine on Thursday.
Ukraine accuses the rebels of hiding evidence that a Russian missile was used to bring it down.
All 298 passengers and crew on board were killed.
