Dunya News - Speaker National Assembly approves names for Electoral Reform Committee

Names of 22 members of the National Assembly have been finalized for the Electoral Reform Committee and the notification of the formation of the Electoral Reform Committee will be issued after Chairman Senate appoints 11 members.
National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah have finalized names for the parliamentary committee, which comprise 22 members of the National Assembly.
The nominees from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) include Shazia Marri, Naveed Qamar, Federal Ministers Zahid Hamid and Abdul Qadir Baloch and State Minister Anoosha Rehman. The committee also consists of three members from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and three members Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as well.
Members of the National Assembly have been nominated while nominees from the Senate are awaited.
