Lebron James going home to Cleveland Cavaliers

It's official.

Lebron James is going back to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He wrote about his decision in an exclusive Sport's Illustrated first-person essay.

In it, he said he realized his relationship with Northeast Ohio was "bigger than basketball."

James ditched Cleveland for the Miami Heat in 2010, leaving his home state fan's feeling betrayed.

He went on to win two championships with Miami - a feat he failed to do in seven seasons in Cleveland.

Then in June, the 10-time NBA All-Star opted out of the final two years of his Miami contract.

A number of teams expressed interest in James, but only Cleveland could bring him home.
