"Transformers" gains traction at box office

Transformers: Age of Extinction shuts out the competition placing first at the box office this week.

Mark Wahlberg stars alongside a cast of form-changing robots.

They're more than meets the eye -- the transformer toys have been popular among children for decades.

And now they've shape-shifted again to the big screen, bringing in $36.4 million in ticket sales over the long weekend.

"Tammy" has revved through to second place, earning $21.2 million in weekend ticket sales.

It's sure better than her work review would be, because Melissa McCarthy's character has had a bad day on the job... as you could probably tell by her hair.

She's part of a high-voltage cast, featuring Susan Sarandon, Dan Aykroyd and Kathy Bates.

Speaking of electrifying, the third place film will send waves of fear through your body.

"Deliver Us from Evil" tells the story of a New York City cop who solves a case he believes involves the devil.
