--STORY CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES --

A rebel soldier appears to take aim at government forces in Syria.

The video, which can not be independently verified by Reuters comes as U.S. President Barack Obama has asked the Congress to approve $500 million to train and equip moderate Syrian rebels seeking to oust President Bashar al-Assad.

More footage shows the aftermath of an attack in Aleppo. A man cries out "It's my dad. For God sake. My father."

The war in Syria has already killed more than 160,000 people, as it spreads beyond the countries borders.

Scenes from a field hospital show blood stained floors, as people tend to the wounded.

Children are among the wounded.

On the ground dead bodies are wrapped in blankets.

Scenes from a war with no end in sight.
