As the stand-off between Delhi University and the University Grants Commission (UGC)escalates, the Delhi University refuses to scrap the four year programme. Meanwhile with students left in lurch as authorities battle, the UGC earlier today agreed to meet representatives of the protesting students. B.Tech students decided to call off protests following an assurance from the UGC , saying, "Although we're calling off protests for now,it doesn't mean we're fully assured."
