    For now for they’re just being used as a way put out some feelers.

    Harley admits that they’re not entirely sure that as is it’s something their customers will be into, but wants to keep an eye on the future, nonetheless.

    Before the bike goes into production, the public will have an opportunity to give their opinions on the early version as the bikes will go on a worldwide demo tour.

    Just looking at the bike, it’s clear engineers and designers took some marked departures from the company’s traditional look.

    Much of that was likely out of necessity, as a battery certainly presents some unique challenges.

    As a means of compensating for the load, the perimeter frame is made of cast aluminum and weighs only 14 pounds.

    Harley fans will be happy to know that despite the structural differences the electric version still plenty loud.
