Matthias Pantaleon - Thankful
A thankful heart wears gold smile
We are the field with bountiful harvest
A deceitful mind scorn pass byers
They're greedy with the seed they sow

They call me names in my face
Thought I was going to be hateful, am not
They hate my guts and prove it
Thought I was going to return their hate

I am too favoured to wear a frown
Why will I bother over mere mortals
I am favoured with unmerited crown
Why will I not make melody to God

Make peace like melody from strings of violin
Make peace all thankful heart, hate is a broken cord
