You win this everlasting battle
I give up
I surrender

Can you not see my white flag waving?
I'm sick of trying
Because I try for nothing
Where is my half of the bargain?

Inside I'm dying
I cannot flee
I am a refugee in my mind
Escaping from the danger chasing me

Whenever does this end?
I thought you'd be the one to free me
Yet again,
I was proven wrong

I am an immigrant
In foreign lands
Fighting for my freedom
A gift I think I'll never get

Alas my time with thee is complete.
