Humraaz (Hindi: हमराज़ English: Confidant) is a 2002 Bollywood romantic thriller film directed by duo Abbas-Mustan and produced under Venus Movies banner. Released on 5 July 2002, it stars Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna and Amisha Patel in lead roles. The film attained the Blockbuster verdict.
It went on to do well at the box office and was nominated for several Filmfare Awards including the Best Film, Abbas-Mustan for Filmfare Best Director Award and Akshaye Khanna for the Filmfare Best Villain Award. It is based on 1954 Hollywood Movie "Dial M For Murder" by Alfred Hitchcock. The same theme was used in earlier Hindi movie "Aitbaar"(1985) directed by Mukul Anand. 1998 Hollywood Movie "A Perfect Murder" was recent remake of the original Classic "Dial M For Murder".
