Danny Boy
Worked hard and played hard
Always leader of the pack
Had the lads in formation
Ready to attack, any other tribe
Or any group of beautiful tripe

Danno was the tough guy
Smoke in his mouth
Whiskey in his glass
Ready with rage and fists (he used to be a boxer you know?)
For any other pretender
That slighty resembled him

Daniel was a weak boy
Racked with guilts and complexities
Always second guessing life
Chances are, his second guess was always right
No bridge over troubled water this time
He never stood a chance

Haunted by his past
He kicked out at the world
The drink and nicotene to make him bleed
Made him think he was real
But he hid himself away
He had us all fooled though, playboy indeed
