Deep inside I hurt
And now he wants me back.
He tries hard to win
But love for him I lack.
Lies are hard for me,
For lying's not my style.
Though small it may seem,
It stays for quite a while.
He just won't give up
And try to be my friend.
If he can't let go,
Our friendship, too, will end.
Thinking of himself
As the world goes around
Seeking for my praise
But there's none to be found.
