Dunya News - PMLQ announces support for AML's 'train march'

Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PMLQ) on Thursday endorsed Awami Muslim League (AML)’s train march scheduled for June 20. Sheikh Rasheed said that formation of grand opposition alliance is the need of the hour. Chaudhry Shujaat said he will welcome the train march in Gujrat himself, Dunya News reported.
Addressing media along with PMLQ’s central leadership, AML chief Sheikh Rasheed said that a historical train march will take place on June 20 and that a historic welcome of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri will take place on June 23.
He said that he has brotherly relation with Chaudhry brothers and thanked PMLQ for the support.
Rasheed said that PMLQ has assured support for the train march. He said that now the sit-in will take place as part of ‘final round’, adding that formation of ‘grand alliance’ is need of the hour. He said that he wishes for a grand alliance comprising all opposition parties.
AML chief said that the second phase of the train march will be announced later.
He said that Chudhry Shujaat’s assurance to welcome train marchers in Gujrat is of an honour and encouraging.
PMLQ leader Chudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that Sheikh Rasheed is man of his words, adding that a 10-point agenda was also discussed.
He said that other parties can also give their agenda and that their opinion will also be included.
