ENCORE - Commemorating 70 years since D-Day

The Normandy landings were the largest airborne and amphibious assault in military history. "Saving Private Ryan", "The Longest Day" and "Band of Brothers" are among the tributes to hit our screens over the years. As we mark the 70th anniversary, the time is right for another cinematic look at the day that marked a turn in WW2.
On today's show Eve Jackson speaks to Pascal Vuong about the riveting and new film experience of "D-Day Normandy 1944".
Also on the show we meet the soldier who shot thousands of photographs during the invasion, Tony Vaccaro, and we find out about the music invasion that landed on France's shores in 1944.
