Sunderland look to be closing in on a deal for Internacional forward Ignacio Scocco.

Scocco signed for Internacional in the summer from Newell's Old Boys after scoring 24 goals in 33 games last season. Although he has managed just 3 in 17 games in Brazil. He earned his first international cap for Argentina last year scoring twice against Brazil.
