The Billboard Music Awards were held in Las Vegas and Justin Timberlake took home seven awards including top artist, top male artist and top Billboard 200 album for last year's "The 20/20 Experience." Timberlake is on tour in Europe and sent a taped 'thank you' speech. The other big winner of the night was Imagine Dragons, who won five awards including top rock artist and top duo/group.

The show was punctuated by numerous performances, but it was the late Michael Jackson who stole the show. Jackson appeared via hologram, dancing and singing to the newly released song, "Slave to the Rhythm," off his posthumous album "Xscape."

Robert Pattinson and Julianne Moore hit up the Cannes Film Festival to promote their new film, "Maps to the Stars" by director David Cronenberg. This is the second time that the "Twilight" star has collaborated with Cronenberg - he previously appeared in his film, "Cosmopolis."

Also in Cannes, Channing Tatum greeted fans and signed autographs
