''Heya Folks. I be Jasper Rua. I have been questioned as to where and how I found my way of playing music. To explain it briefly , I found it through being inspired by my cousin as a kid, through depending on music, finding music, finding music that completely inspires me and then wanting to make my own.
I am enjoying making music through acoustic guitar. I also enjoy experimenting with lap steel guitar, hand percussion, harmonica, ukulele, and other fun instruments. Born in Clonmel. Raised in Carrick On Suir. Currently Co.Carlow. Next, who knows ? I don't. Hopefully, I will be healthy and still writing music.
I am currently in the process of getting together of getting my completed album out there in CD format.Also, I am a co-organiser of an open mic in Carlow (Sunshine Folk Club) for the last two to three years. We have come across some amazing people and banter. At the moment I am enjoying meeting musicians from different gigs, learning from them,writing music,sharing music and getting excited about the next gig.
