Originating from Lake Worth and Boynton Beach, the group was formed by Andy Johnson and Robert Richie, when both of their former bands (Routine Scheme and Stray Bomb) had split up. At first a duo was formed, with only acoustic guitar and ukulele, but as shows became more frequent the desire for a full band grew. Ryan Jackola and Ryan Cross joined on bass guitar and drums, respectively. The Rude Hecklers attempt to remain undefined by a genre, and with a variation of songs that seek to not just entertain, but also intrigue. As a result, their audience is growing and they just recorded a new CD set to be released March 22, 2014 on Amazon.com.
