Laos Air Force plane crashes

The Laos Air force plane carrying 14 people crashed in this forsest area in the north of the country.
Those on board included the defence minister, the mayor of the capital, Vientiane, and his wife.
Unconfirmed reports from neighbouring Thailand said the defence minister had died but up to three passengers had survived.
The plane, said to be an Antonov AN74-300, crashed early in the morning local time.
