Underwater video shows migrant shipwreck off Lampedusa

Rescue divers have released underwater video from the shipwreck which killed 366 migrants in October last year.
Several bodies can be seen on the deck as well as inside the boat which caught fire and capsized tragically within sight of Lampedusa's shoreline. Most onboard were Africans seeking a better life in Europe.
Forty-one minors were among the 366 dead. Only 155 survived. The drowning of so many people so close to land shed light on the desperate circumstances that prompt between 30 and 40 thousand to attempt the treacherous journey each year.
