In dash-cam footage posted to YouTube over the weekend, a 19-year-old scooter driver is seen flying into an open manhole, the victim of an illegal turn made along a rural Taiwan road.

The video shows an elderly driver making an improper turn just south of the capital Taipei, causing the speeding scooter driver to tumble into an unfortunately-placed manhole.

While details of the incident are scarce, the scooter driver was thankfully left nursing only minor injuries.
