Philly Hess gas station robbery: Thieves shoot clerk, pump gas for extra cash

Three men who robbed a southwest Philly gas station weren't happy with the money they made after shooting and injuring the clerk, so they decided to stick around and pump some gas to increase their haul.
The 18-year old attendant, who was working to make extra cash before college, mistook the first robber for a delivery man as he entered wearing a Hess shirt.
Before the second robber entered with a gun and held it to his head.
When the robber tried to him the clerk the gun went off, grazing his head.
The trio then hid the clerk in the bathroom and told him to keep quiet.
As they spent the next three hours or so waiting on customers and pumping cut price gas to make some more money.
Local police said this was the first time they had heard of crooks doing such a thing.
Adding that they would like to speak to customers who took advantage of the cut-price gas in the hope of catching the robbers, who they believe have robbed two other Hess stations in recent days.
