Me Driving Like an Idiot: Florida teen Robert Kelley dash cam video leads to arrest

A Florida teen was arrested after posting a video from a dash cam titled "Me Driving Like an Idiot." He caused two crashes involving four cars while on a joyride on Monday in New Smyrna Beach.
Robert Charles Kelley IV, 18, arrived at his home around 3:15 pm. He crashed his father's 1994 Honda just 15 minutes later when he struck a Toyota sedan on Highway 44 near Jungle Road.
Kelley continued driving westbound on Highway 44 and struck an SUV, which then crashed into two other vehicles near Colony Park Road. The drivers of the vehicles sustained minor injuries, and Kelley had to be airlifted to Halifax Medical Center.
Emergency personnel said Kelley was trying to make Skype calls while they were trying to give him medical attention. The dash cam video showed Kelley weaving in and out of cars, leading up to and including the moment of impact of the first crash.
Kelley was arrested at his home on Friday after police saw his video on YouTube, which has since been removed. He is charged with two counts of leaving the scene of a crash, reckless driving and driving without a license. He is being held at the Volusia County Jail on $46,000 bond.
