From Cricket to Hockey, Bollywood has already witnessed quite a few lot of films made on sports! But coming as a yet another added excite, here is an unconventional roll of skates, brought to you by Amol Gupte's Hawa Hawaai! Yes! Starring his very own son, Partho Gupte, while the film gathers a troop of kids varying from streets to slums, let's find out how far has this skating venture lived up to its flight of expectations.
Firstly, a quick brush up through the film's plot. 'Hawa Hawaai' is a story of a little boy named Arjun who serves tea in order to support his family. However, while doing so he once gets introduced to a class of skating, and Arjun being a skate enthusiast further manages to join the class with the help of his street friends. All sails well. His tutor Aniket too notices this talent in Arjun and decides to train him better, but things do not go as per Aniket's plans. Thus what happens next is what the entire film is all about.
Now as per the plot, the story gets quite predictable but the film still touts to be a beautiful piece of narration with a buffet of heart touching moments! The rawness in the characters to the innocence that's being well enhanced through the film's screenplay, well, Hawa Hawaai offers all that one has been looking for in a feel good film! And yes, we are still smiling...Coming to the performances, while Partho gives a brilliant command with his total conviction, Saqib Saleem too is good on his part and highly excels in the narrative parts. And others including Partho's friends lend great support and are worth a say.
Overall, to sum it up, Hawa Hawaai is a flight of excellence with perfect screenplay and a feel good story! Well, we still can't get over with the impact that it has left on our minds...Whoa...what brilliance in these little kids! And yes, we are still smiling....!
