Chris Brown will remain behind bars for at least another week. The singer was in a Los Angeles court on Thursday (May 01) and was ordered to remain in jail without bail. Brown is accused of violating his probation stemming from his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna. A judge ordered him back to court on May 9, when a date is expected to be set for a probation-violation hearing. The decision means that Brown will spend his 25th birthday in jail on May 05.
Heroin was "likely" to have played a role in the death of Peaches Geldof. A post-mortem examination failed to establish the cause of her death, but an inquest was told on Thursday that a toxicology report found heroin in the 25-year-old's system. The daughter of Irish musician Bob Geldof, Peaches died at her home on April 7. A full inquest will take place on July 23.
