ENCORE! - Master of movement: Carolyn Carlson on her visual poetry

She’s created over 100 works, a large number of which are landmarks in the history of dance. Among her many awards she’s been given one of France’s highest honours - she’s a knight of the order for arts and letters. American-born choreographer and dancer Carolyn Carlson joins us on set to discuss what she describes as her "visual poetry", how at the age of 71 she couldn’t imagine not dancing and why she is first and foremost a nomad.
Her show "Dialogue with Rothko" is on tour, and will be in Paris on June 4th and 5th at the "Théâtre de l'Aquarium". Click here to find out more about Carolyn Carlson's company.
Also on the show, we check out the sing-a-long saint. Ahead of John Paul II's canonisation this weekend, the extraordinary life story of the former playwright has been set to music in several theatre shows in the Italian capital.
