A 21-year old man in northern Italy has been crushed to death by a crucifix built to honour Pope John Paul II
It happened just three days before John Paul will be canonized in Rome.
Part of the 30m-high sculpture collapsed at a ceremony near the town of Cevo to mark the canonisation.
The crucifix was built to commemorate the Pope’s visit to the area in 1998.
