Could Jupiter Become A Star?

When NASA's Galileo spacecraft reached the end of its life, it was crashed into Jupiter's atmosphere. Some were worred that Jupiter might become a second star in the Solar System. Is that even possible? What would it take to ignite Jupiter into a star?
