Japanese bicyclist stabs motorist to death for criticizing his cycling
  • 10 years ago
Police arrested an unemployed Japanese man in his mid-20s this past Thursday for allegedly stabbing a driver who was harassing him while he was riding his bicycle.

The suspect, Sei Kinami, allegedly tweeted details about the incident 15 minutes after he committed the crime.

According to a police, Kinami was angry that the victim had driven his vehicle too close to him while he was riding his bicycle. He said the victim had honked his horns at him and complained about his bike riding, which really pissed the killer off, provoking his violent knife attack.

When the victim tried to drive away, Kinami allegedly clung desperately to the vehicle and stabbed the victim in the sides and shoulder. Kinami tweeted about the incident fifteen minutes later.

During the course of their investigation, Osaka police found Kinami in Higashiyodogawa Ward office when he showed up to collect his unemployment benefits Thursday. Under questioning, Kinami claimed he had not intended to kill the victim, though he admitted to stabbing the victim after the man made him angry by verbally harassing and honking at him.
